For 30 years, Mrs. Stephanie Moore has been The London Connection’s greatest supporter. When the idea of a London property rental company was formulating, Stephanie was the person whose enthusiasm encouraged me to invest in property in London and to develop this company. I was already overly-committed in so many projects like the building of Symphony Hall in Salt Lake City, the preservation of Union Station in Ogden, Utah to house the Browning guns and cars, and the battle to preserve the Eccles Historic District–one of the first National Historic Districts in the West. So, London had to be a hobby at the time but quickly grew because we immediately understood that people who were traveling preferred to be in flats and apartments rather than in a hotel–just as we did. For many years, before the Internet was really an option, Mrs. Moore obtained theater tickets for our visitors; it was a wonderful way to support our developing company. Now, years and years later, Stephanie is celebrating her 66th birthday and continues to “caution and advise.” She is in London at least twice a year and keeps an eye on how new flats are presented and cared for. Believe me, she is never short of a few recommendations, and we give her our full attention! Stephanie is a lovely, gentle lady with a steel rod up her back — actually, a no-nonsense, highly-refined, cultured, and educated individual who has been my happy partner for 45 years! Imagine that! The happiest part of her day is having breakfast with her youngest of 13 grandchildren, Kale. He is 3, and grandmother and grandson share great wisdom almost before the sun comes up before they both go off on their busy days. Nice.
