London: The Daffodils in St. James’s Park

The first sign of spring in London is the daffodil invasion in St. James’s Park.  I enjoy an early April walk from Trafalgar Square up the Mall to Buckingham Palace through the park.  Every year, the bulbs come up in late March, flower in early April, and vanish in late April/early May.  It is one of the most beautiful sites in London.  This morning, our London Connection manager called to say that my favorite walk was in full bloom.  I will be in London in a couple week;  hopefully, there will be one last bloom left for me.  Really beautiful.
