THE QUEEN MARY 2: HIGH TEA

Remember, Queen Mary 2 is ENGLAND.  That means high tea at 3:30 in the Queen’s Room every day.  Of course you are starving by 3:30 (ha!), so we skip through the ship down to the Queen Room – the largest room in the ship.  Queen Mary and King George V are remembered by two bronze busts which are never far away from our experiences in the Queen’s Room.  You remember Queen Mary!?  Well, high tea was a daily ritual.  We had all kinds of teas, small  finger sandwiches, scones/butter/jam, and wonderful pastries–just what the doctor ordered!  Trays and trays of delicious wonderful food to warm us up for dinner in three hours!  Goodness, what an experience.
