I was hurrying from Parliament Square to Covent Garden and was walking at quite a clip when I suddenly realized that the mounted Blues and Royals guard was sound asleep. I stood there for a moment to see if it was just a one-second wink when I realized that he was sound asleep and his helmet was falling off. It was the funniest thing. People were taking pictures of their family and friends next to the guard. They must have noticed that he was out like a light. Very amusing.
