One of my readers sent this article to me. I think it is part of a longer writing, and I would like to read the whole publication. I know there are many travelers to London who go on a shoestring. I agree completely that if you have a flat to live in where you can cook and an OYSTER card that you bought at a local tube station, a trip to London can really be reasonable. But, there is a different approach to this kind of trip. You need to do your homework to know which events and sites are very reasonable or free. Believe me, there is so much to see and do. the article is worth reading. I suggest you be fit and have a pair of comfortable walking shoes. Start walking at home before you ever arrive in London.
