A visit to London during the summer opening of the staterooms at Buckingham Palace is a very exciting experience. I have written several articles about the Palace, but I have not suggested a visit to the GIFT SHOP in the Queen’s Gallery located on the south side of the Palace.. There are so many interesting gifts and literature in the gift shop, but I think the PERFECT SOUVENIR is the DVD of the Royal Wedding. It is beautifully done, and it is a memory of one of the great events in English royal history. For a cost of 12 pounds, a memory of this wonderful event will come alive for years to come. I bought my copy, and I am sure I will enjoy showing it to family and friends when we have guests at home.
I just checked on AMAZON, and there are several copies available there. Be sure you are buying a copy that will play on your DVD wherever you are in the world. I believe the Palace is saying that their copies will play in both the United States/Canada and in Britain. I am no technician.
