While I was in London, every jewelry dealers was mobbed by gold investors. I become furious when one investor said he would remove the stones and sell the gold for scrap. You could hardly get to the jewelry dealers’ tables. Have we gone mad! Imagine melting down family jewelry to sell as scrap! Insanity.
