I ran into this Australian publication tonight, and I thought there were some helpful hints. It is a bit too casual with little emphasis on the great museums, but hey, there are parts which interest me. There are no discussions about Degas (who had an American mother, by the way), no reference to the DaVinci Exhibition at the National Gallery, and no reference to the Wallace Collection, but I think the publication has merit.
