I have never been a fan of organized day tours until the last few years when I realized that visitors to London can do better with an organized day trip. This saves road maps, rental cars, hunting through the countryside, on and on. You may wish to consider one of these tours. They look good to me. I like the one to Warwick Castle and the one to Canterbury. Hm! I might try it. The price is certainly right.
