The Queen has received a Royal Gift, the GLORIANA, a Royal barge. This wonderful private Diamond Jubilee present is made of Sweet Chestnut wood from Prince Charles estate at High Grove and “should last 200 years.” This fabulous gift which will lead the flotilla procession celebration will carry the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh, and I will be on the sidelines with my camera, bells, and whistles. My friends all want to sleep rough as we did for the Royal Wedding; I am not sure I am up to that GREAT FUN TIME again so soon. Goodness, all this fun stuff is happening all at once. Barely have time to charge the camera, and we are at it again! Great fun, eh?
