Thank you, John Wieneman, for these fabulous photographs taken at the funeral of the Duchess of Windsor at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor 29 April, 1886. I wonder what was going through the Queen Mother’s mind at this moment. Probably she said it in her own words: ”When you grow older, you don’t care so much any more!” At the end of a long and very happy story, indeed.
