Now that we have a bit of distance from the great Pageant down the River Thames, the GREAT IMAGES are coming to the surface. We who lined the river for one of the greatest events of our lives, these images mean a great deal to us. For my last post about the Great Thames Flotilla for the Queen’s 60th Diamond Jubilee, I want to publish a series of pictures which I think are the very best. I have spent much of my life in England and have built a business in London, so my heart and soul are deeply attached to these great events. For this year, it has been one magnificent experience after another: Royal Wedding, Duke of Edinburgh’s 90th, The Diamond Jubilee, Trooping the Colour, The Garter Ceremony at Windsor, The Olympic Summer Games, on and on. This has been the year to enjoy London–perhaps like no other in history. Please enjoy these photographs. They are the best of the best.
