COPENHAGEN, THE DUKE OF WELLINGTON’S PRIZED CHARGER AT THE BATTLE OF WATERLOO

Filed under: BRITISH HISTORY — tmooresr @ 11:46 am

I have been working on an article about the Wellington Arch in front of Apsley House.  I decided that we needed to know about Wellington’s heroic charger who served the great Duke to defeat Napoleon.  This is interesting.  The portrait of Wellington on his horse is in Apsley House, across from the Arch, next to Buckingham Palace.
