PICCADILLY CIRCUS TO CHANGE: A GIANT SNOW GLOBE TO COVER THE STATUE OF EROS ~~~ THAT WILL GO DOWN LIKE A ……~~~

I can’t get my head around this.  I understand the drunks and all that, but a SNOW GLOBE in Piccadilly Circus?  Come on!  There are thousands of options;  why select a silly one?
