We came to LAS VEGAS to meet up with the drummer BEN THOMPSON who is in Las Vegas for a ROCK CONCERT tomorrow night. We decided to drive to Las Vegas from our home high in the Rocky Mountains to hear the concert, have a great meal at a Thai restaurant, and renew our friendship with this young man who is going places; he is a really shiny penny. HE IS THE DRUMMER WE MET ON THE EUROSTAR WHEN RETURNING TO LONDON FROM PARIS LAST MONTH. Tonight, we wandered around this crazy city. It is a city of such contrasts: one minute it is all about calling-a-girl-to-you- room signs, and the next minute one is enjoying the most wonderful decorative arts in the lobby of the Bellagio. I will photograph the rock concert tomorrow evening, but until then I will share some photographs I took this evening of this CITY OF CONTRASTS. I home you will grin, chuckle, and laugh. Here we go!
