This morning at 6:30 AM, my flight from Washington DC Dulles touched down at Terminal #1 Heathrow Airport, London.   The flight was great, but the arrival this morning was even better:  sunshine and warm weather in London.  No rain!  But the best part of arriving is meeting up with the best LONDON CONNECTION team possible.  David was waiting for me at Heathrow just after I cleared Her Majesty’s Customs with his bright smile–just like he does for all company arrivals at either Heathrow or Gatwick Airports.  I love our ride into central London because we have so much to talk about.  I love these moments.  I hear all the latest stories and “gossip” since I was here a few months ago.  When we are in central London, the famous Cristina is waiting for, just as she would be doing for all the visitors.  Between the two of them, I am in the most capable hands,  and I am thrilled to be in this great city which I love so much.  If I come alone for business, I stay in different flats each time so that I am familiar with all our accommodations–as if I were a company visitor.  I turn 70 years old today, and I could not be happier!  Tomorrow we are having a company birthday party and attending CIRQUE DE SOLEIL in Royal Albert Hall–the whole company will be celebrating 30 years of “doing” LONDON CONNECTION and my 70th.  Life is wonderful, especially in London.  Meet my friends, Cristina and David.  And you will enjoy meeting them when you arrive for your stay in London.  You will never meet more capable, professional people.  They are real “pros”–this is a family business, and we consider them family.   Gosh, they are wonderful!

When I arrive at the flat where I will be staying, I enjoy seeing the housekeepers–some of them have worked for the London Connection for over ten years!  They are wonder, hard-working, professional people.  I love them like family.
