“ENCHANTED APRIL” IS A BIT OF ROMANTIC SILLINESS WHICH I ENJOY OVER AND OVER!
A ROOM WITH A VIEW, HOWARD’S END, LADIES IN LAVENDAR, and almost every film where I find Maggie Smith, Joan Plowright, Ralph Fiennes, Judi Dench, Helena Bonham Carter, Vanessa Redgrave, Emma Thompson, Anthony Hopkins are ”mood changers” for me. When I am tense and need to go back a few decades, these actors and their wonderful performances do the trick for me. I like the modern actors like Eddie Redmayne, Tom Hiddleston, and Rupert Friend, but it’s just not the same!–Maybe it is my age, who knows! A couple of days ago, Mrs. Moore and I watched ENCHANTED APRIL for the hundredth time, and we smiled and smiled all the way through. The critics say the movie has a “romantic” and “contrived” ending–PERFECT! Just what I like: a happy exit. If you are a real ANGLOPHILE, I would check out ENCHANTED APRIL– you will love it, as we do. The photography is fabulous.

TOM HIDDLESTON PLANNING TO RETURN TO THE STAGE
I think it is the same cycle Ralph Fiennes has gone through. Fiennes has said over and over that it is the LIVE PERFORMANCE ON STAGE which defines an actor. I agree.

DANIEL CRAIG: WHO IS THIS MAN WHO PLAYS JAMES BOND? HE LOOKS TOUGH, AND HE PLAYS ROUGH!
As I walked out of the movie theater last night, I heard the lady sitting at the end of my row of seats say WHO IS DANIEL CRAIG? I thought to myself and realized that I haven’t a clue about the life of Daniel Craig. I have seen him in several films–enjoying every one of them, but I knew nothing about him. So, I pulled up WIKIPEDIA this early morning to get a quick idea. Let me share it with you.
