As I watch LADIES IN LAVENDER and CRANFORD, I say to myself over and over: Judi Dench, you are amazing. I find myself engrossed, happy, and thrilled that an actress can perform like this over and over again. So, I when I read this morning that JUDI DENCH has been voted the greatest stage actor ever, my heart missed a beat, and I smiled inside and out. What a contribution to the theater of the English-speaking world and what a reason to enjoy theater and television. Congratulations, Judi Dench from all your followers and the readers of this blog! VANESSA REDGRAVE AND RALPH FIENNES: Two wonderful people of London film and stage. I LOVE THIS PHOTOGRAPH
Oh, what amazing people! I wonder if they have beehives in their gardens! I am seeing Ralph Fiennes in THE TEMPEST, opening night, in September. That will be a powerful experience. Seats sold out in 2 days after the announcement that Ralph Fiennes would take the lead. Fantastic! Exciting stuff. Now that I think about it, I am sure they are beekeepers. Goodness, look at those cuffs! He’s his own man.
