LONDON: THE PERFECT CITY FOR CAR WATCHERS ~~HAVE LUNCH AT CLARIDGE’S, AND YOU WILL SEE CARS STRAIGHT FROM HEAVEN~~
London is a town where the automobile tells a lot about the owner. Jewels, furs, clothes, addresses say a lot, but the car is the man’s way of saying LOOK AT ME. I am personally not a car fancier, but I do admire their beauty and status. I have to admit, I have never been anywhere where the Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Jaguar, Range Rover, Bugatti, Ferarri, on and on beautifully clutter Mayfair. I took a few photos to make us all “green.” But really, they are works of art and much appreciated by highly-charged young people and discerning connoisseurs.

THE QUEEN’S FLEET OF LIMOUSINES
The Queen has been on the throne for 60 years, and during that period of time she has had numerous limousines given to her for landmark occasions. Several of these cars are on display at the Royal Mews at Buckingham Palace as well as at the car museum at Sandringham House in Norfolk. They are truly works of art.

THE “BATTLE ROYAL” BETWEEN THE DUKE AND DUCHESS OF WINDSOR AND QUEEN ELIZABETH (THE QUEEN MOTHER) CONTINUES
The difficulties between the Duke of Windsor and the family of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth have been legendary. We all know the ins and outs of the saga; and quite frankly, I am tired of the whole matter. The fact is, Edward VIII chose his Duchess over his throne, and for whatever reason, he was “gone.” Well, not quite. The tensions between the Duke of Windsor and the new king and queen never ceased. Goodness, do we have to hear about it again? Well, items like royal memorabilia surface from time to time at auctions, and everyone starts talking about the “big problem” all over again.
