In this engraving we can identify the King, the Queen, and the profile of George, later King George V. This is a very interesting image of court life during the Edwardian Age at Windsor Castle. I am reading BERTIE by Jane Ridley which is an amazing window into the Edwardian Age and a detailed report about the King–pretty detailed, let me tell you! It tells the truth. Prince Albert’s fears were certainly realized, but Edward VII ended up being a very affective king.

This is a very important photograph; it was taken shortly before the King died.

This is a very special photograph. Amazing, really. Queen Alexandra called Edward VII “Tum-Tum” as he rode around the Sandringham Estate with Mrs. Keppell
