If you join the Yeoman Warder Tours at the Tower of London, you will be given a great treat at the end of your experience: a visit to the Royal Chapel of St Peter Ad Vincula. If you go through the Tower of London on your own, you can visit the ROYAL CHAPEL at the end of a visiting day. This is the Tudor Chapel where many Queens, Saints, and people convicted of treason were buried headless. St. John Chapel in the White Tower and The Royal Chapel St Peter Ad Vincula are two sites that are not to be missed while at the Tower of London. The Tudors had a way of punishing their enemies, and to cross the King usually meant a rather frightening visit to the Tower of London and most likely a visit to the chopping block! My own namesake SIR THOMAS MORE became a saint after defying the King and losing his head. Queen Anne Boleyn paid for her flirtations and unfaithfulness to King Henry VIII. And there were many others! Incredible history to be heard about this Tudor Chapel.
