A ROYAL ROYAL ARTIFACT WITHOUT EQUAL — I am thrilled about this!

Filed under: Artifact,TREASURE,the royal collection — tmooresr @ 3:31 pm

When Cromwell beheaded CHARLES I , the Royalists went underground to wait for a time they could restore royal power.  In the Royal Collection is kept this very historic ring which was worn by a Royalist who would have worn this portrait of Charles I  turned down;  the skull on the underside was a symbol of the King’s death.    This royal “souvenir” is extremely interesting—fascinating, fascinating!  Goodness, why hasn’t it been shown to the public before.  I am thrilled about this.  I have studied the life and collection of Charles I, perhaps next to George IV, the greatest Royal collector.
